Despite the word "Investment" in its name, SAT INVESTMENT LLP does not invest, lend or manage money for clients, does not accept deposits or investments, and holds no licence from the ARDFM or the AFSA. It is not an appraiser, an audit firm or a law firm. It is not affiliated with SAT & Company JSC, SAT-NS or SAT INVESTMENT GROUP.
How the work runs
Each engagement follows four steps. The scope and fee are agreed in writing before work starts.
Brief
What is being bought, for how much, and what worries you most.
Request
A document list for the seller, with workpaper references for each item.
Review
What was received, what is missing, and what does not match.
Hand-over
A written list of open questions for you and your lawyer, auditor and appraiser.

Looking at a business to buy? Answer what you know today. The check shows which areas still need work. It does not replace professional checks.
Open areas
Educational only, and nothing you enter leaves your browser. "Not sure" counts as an open question, not as a pass.
Limits and free help
What we do not do
- Value businesses or issue valuation reports. Use a licensed appraiser.
- Audit accounts or give an audit opinion. Use an audit firm.
- Give legal or tax advice or draft the purchase agreement. Use a lawyer and a tax adviser.
- Find, finance or invest in deals, or take payments for the seller.
- Promise that a deal is safe. Checks reduce risk but do not remove it.
What you can check free
- The company's registration and status, through the public services on egov.kz.
- Tax arrears and taxpayer status, through the State Revenue Committee's online services.
- Free consultations for entrepreneurs at the business support centres of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken".
- Court cases involving the company, through the public search of the court system.
Fraud warning. We never ask for deposits for a deal, "reservation fees" for a business or payments on the seller's behalf. If someone does this in our name, do not pay. Report it to the police and let us know by email.
